Rights Protection Project

    “GNI in the Kyrgyz Republic” understands the need for nponaganda educational guidelines to inform social educators about children's rights and their education about combating child abuse in the Kyrgyz Republic. From March to June 2017, 228 social school teachers and social partners from 6 oblasts underwent training to protect the rights of children and published guidelines for working with children in difficult living conditions or subjected to violence.

    On the 17th of August, 2017, the final conference “Together we will protect children from violence” was held at the “Zhannat” hotel in Bishkek. This conference was attended by 73 people from the government, schools and other NGOs and led the discussion, which resulted in a resolution to provide the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic to strengthen the system of child protection.
