Garage sale
A Garage Sale was held at the Alykul Osmonov National Library on 29 October. The fair featured a variety of handicrafts, books, baked goods and much more. There was also a lottery where valuable prizes from our sponsors were raffled off. Young talents from the Kurenkeev College and the " Antre " ballet studio supported our fair with their great performances. Thank you to all our participants and sponsors for helping us in any way you could! At the Garage Sale, we collected 81720 soms. All collected funds have been transferred to our HOPE account and will be used for the infrastructure restoration project in Batken oblast. Thank you to all our volunteers for the work you have done with us! We have significant and exciting events ahead of us in the coming months, so stay tuned.

On June 26, graduation ceremonies were held across the Kyrgyz Republic to celebrate students completing their secondary education. This special day marked the end of an important chapter in their lives and the beginning of a new journey filled with opportunities, hope, and future achievements.
School graduates from the Japalak Community Development Project (Japalak CDP) in Osh Region also celebrated this important milestone. To make the occasion even more memorable, Good Neighbors Kyrgyz Republic, through the Rural Youth Transition & Educational Motivation Initiative project, prepared commemorative gifts and sweet treats for the graduates.

On June 29, Good Neighbors Kyrgyz Republic conducted a one-day training for 80 school graduates from the Bolot Mambetov Area Development Program (ADP) in Kaji-Sai village, Issyk-Kul Region.
The training aimed to support young people during their transition into adulthood, help them make informed decisions about their future education and career paths, and strengthen their confidence in their own abilities.
The program began with an introductory session about the work of Good Neighbors and opportunities for future engagement with the organization. Participants then discussed personal and financial responsibility, safety, document processing, informed decision-making, and ways to protect themselves from potential risks.
Particular attention was given to planning for life after graduation. The participants explored opportunities for continuing their education, professional development, employment, goal setting, and making informed career choices. They also learned about youth activism and volunteerism, discussing how community engagement helps develop leadership skills and gain valuable experience.
During the practical session, participants strengthened their communication, self-presentation, and teamwork skills. They were also introduced to the idea of establishing the Good Neighbors Alumni Club, which will serve as a platform for networking, sharing experiences, and participating in community initiatives.
Throughout the day, the graduates took part in interactive activities, team-building exercises, and a themed quiz. The event concluded with the presentation of commemorative gifts and a group photo.
