Meeting of target school teachers with STEAM education experts of Mugalim EDU
Good Neighbors Kyrgyz Republic completed a project to equip an ICT classroom and a video recording studio in 2023 at the School named after Baiseyit uulu Eshmanbet in Kyzyl-Tuu village, Besh-Tash aiyl okmotu, Talas district, Talas oblast.
In 2024, GNKGZ plans a series of program training sessions for the school teachers on STEAM educational technology.
Our partners, experts in teaching STEAM technology (https://mugalim-edu.com/), held a meeting with the school teachers to assess their level of understanding and ability to master the new teaching technology. All suggestions and comments from the teachers were taken into account for developing the training program, which will maximize the effectiveness of the upcoming training sessions.
The goal of the project is to create STEAM centers at the school where children will learn the school curriculum with a new innovative approach, applying the knowledge they acquire in practice. The centers will provide all the advanced tools and equipment for the practical mastery of school knowledge.

1. Request for Quotations: "Construction Materials for Kindergarten"
About the Project:
Expansion of the kindergarten building in Uch-Terek village, Jalal-Abad region (procurement, delivery, and unloading of construction, finishing, electrical, thermal insulation materials, and plumbing equipment for building an additional block), as well as procurement and delivery of children's toilets for the kindergarten in Nizhne-Chuy village, Chuy region. The project aims to improve conditions for children and strengthen the material and technical base of preschool institutions.

2. Tender: Procurement, Delivery, and Installation of Playground Equipment, Furniture, and Educational Materials for Kindergartens
About the Project:
Creating a safe, comfortable, and developmental environment in preschool institutions across Osh, Issyk-Kul, Chuy, and Jalal-Abad regions. Project tasks include the procurement, transportation, unloading, assembly, and installation of outdoor playground equipment (gazebos, sandboxes, slides, swings, carousels, playhouses), as well as equipping indoor spaces with furniture (beds, chairs, wardrobes), home appliances (TVs), carpets, and educational learning kits.
Deadline for tender submission: September 16, 2026, by 17:00 (17:30)
Submission method: in a sealed A4 envelope with mandatory marking "Equipment and Furniture for Kindergartens" to the address: Bishkek, 2/1 Molodaya Gvardiya Ave., 2nd floor.

In remote villages, access to specialized medical services is often limited: to undergo an ultrasound examination, parents have to cover transportation costs to travel to the district center themselves or travel to Bishkek, incurring additional expenses for transport and accommodation.
Free mobile medical check-ups provided by Good Neighbors Kyrgyz Republic help reduce significant financial and logistical barriers for families. A powerful example of the project's real impact is the case of a child from Sary-Sogot village: doctors timely detected acute hepatic echinococcosis with a large liver cyst, which posed a life-threatening risk. The family was immediately advised to seek urgent specialized treatment and travelled to Bishkek for emergency surgical care.

"We have been collaborating with Good Neighbors for several years. Taking children for a medical examination somewhere far away — to Bishkek or even to the district center — often proves difficult for various reasons. We express our deep gratitude to Good Neighbors for bringing special equipment directly to our village and providing the opportunity to examine our young children and monitor their health. I believe that preventive medical check-ups are extremely important: we might not notice the symptoms of certain diseases in time, and if left untreated, it can lead to tragic consequences. Such examinations help us take care of our children's health, monitor it in advance, and prevent various diseases!"
