Global Youth Network is an international program of Good Neighbors International that brings together children and young people from different countries to promote global citizenship, leadership, and social responsibility. The project aims to increase awareness of global challenges and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), while developing collaboration, communication, and active civic engagement skills among youth.

Participants will take part in a series of training sessions and practical activities designed to strengthen their understanding of global issues and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as well as to develop leadership, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.

Through participation in the program, students are expected to expand their knowledge of global challenges, enhance their communication, teamwork, and leadership skills, and become more active contributors to addressing issues within their communities.

Trainings for the CHW

From 14 November to 22 November 2024, Good Neighbors Kyrgyz Republic is being conducted series of trainings for the Community Health Workers (CHW) on anemia prevention and microelements deficit. The trainings are conducted at the regional level in Sokuluk, Ton, Toktogul and Kara-Suu regions within the framework of the project "Strengthening the community health in partnership with CHW", in collaboration with the Republican Health Center and Mass Communication.

In remote regions of the country an alarming level of anemia and iron deficit is observed, especially among children and women, caused by the malnutrition. The goal of the training is to increase the level of awareness of the volunteers, who are the activists and leaders of CHWs, about nutritious food and necessity to take preventive measures to replenish such essential elements for the human organism.

After the trainings, CHWs will conduct increasing awareness campaigns with the population with application of informative materials.

Our participants not only received valuable advice and knowledge but also attended excursions and workshops where they could witness real learning and working conditions firsthand. This is a unique opportunity to be inspired, gain practical experience, and understand the steps needed to build a successful future.

We believe that such initiatives help young people unlock their potential and make informed career choices. We extend our gratitude to everyone who supports and inspires the younger generation in our communities and beyond!
