Health Center in Mirnoe village at Kok-Chu CDP
Good Neighbors Kyrgyz Republic on February 2023 finished the improvement of the Health Center in Mirnoe village at Kok-Chu CDP* (Community Development Project). The heating system was installed, and a better water supply system was provided, also needful facilities were given. Most of the residents of Mirnoe village couldn’t stay inside the health center while receiving medical check-ups in the winter season due to the absence of a heating system. With support from the Branch nowadays Health Center can be comfortably operated in any season. Providing development of infrastructure with the main objective to improve access to necessary services for the community and children mainly is always one of the priorities of Good Neighbors Kyrgyz Republic while implementing of CDP* projects.
Today we would like to share a day in the life of our Resource Development Specialist, Samat Azhikeev. Together with the PR & Fundraising team, he visited the branches of KICB Bank to carry out the regular collection of donations gathered through Good Neighbors charity boxes. Salih Nozimov, one of the children participating in our program, has successfully completed his cancer treatment and overcome the disease. This marks an important milestone on his journey toward recovery and a healthy new chapter in life.
Over the next two to three years, Salih will remain under the regular supervision of his doctors. He will attend scheduled medical check-ups, undergo routine laboratory tests, and follow medical recommendations, including a special diet. These measures will help monitor his health and support his full recovery.
We sincerely express our gratitude to Dr. Zhanna Almazovna Kambarova, pediatric hematologist-oncologist at the National Center for Maternal and Child Welfare, for her professionalism, compassion, dedication, and invaluable contribution to Salih's treatment. Thanks to the tireless efforts of doctors and healthcare professionals, children are given the opportunity to enjoy a healthier future.
We warmly congratulate Salih and his family on this important milestone. We wish him good health, a joyful childhood, endless smiles, the fulfillment of his dreams, and a bright future ahead.
