Village Empowerment
From January 11th to 29th 2024 IRDP project provided a ToT (Training of Trainers). IRDP ToT involves experienced trainers guiding and equipping new trainers with vital expertise, empowering them to educate their communities about gender equality and financial literacy.
It is a key component of our approach to community development. This focuses on two fundamental principles below.
1. Gender equality training: Understanding the importance of creating inclusive communities, the trainings delve into the principles of gender equality. Participants will gain insight into how to break down stereotypes, promote inclusion and ensure equal opportunity for all. The goal is to empower our trainers to become trainers for change in their villages.
2. Financial literacy training: Financial well-being is the constant core of individual and societal prosperity. The financial literacy training covers important concepts such as budgeting, saving, and making sound financial decisions. By providing our coaches with these skills, we strive to empower them to help others make smart financial choices that will contribute to the overall development of the community.
The ToT is a strategic investment in the future of villages in the Kyrgyz Republic. By building the capacity of local leaders, IRDP strives to create self-sustaining progress in which people become advocates for their communities. It is believed to be a testament to the project’s commitment to driving positive change. Through this, the project is expecting sustainable training and empowerment in villagers in the future.
On July 30, 2026, a training session on “Prevention of Emotional Burnout” was held for employees of Good Neighbors Kyrgyz Republic.
The event was aimed at raising staff awareness about emotional burnout, its key signs, causes, and consequences, as well as introducing effective methods for prevention and maintaining emotional well‑being.
During the two‑hour program, participants engaged in a series of interactive sessions focused on practical mastery of self‑assessment tools and prevention of professional burnout. Throughout the training, employees examined risk factors and early warning signs of this condition. They then carried out practical exercises designed to identify individual risk factors and analyze professional resources.
Special attention was given to the topic of “Communication and Interaction” — participants explored effective teamwork skills, which are an essential component of resilience and burnout prevention. The program also included team reflection and practical activities.
The training served as an important platform for open dialogue and strengthening team collaboration, contributing to a positive working atmosphere and enhancing staff resilience to professional stress.
We extend our gratitude to our esteemed colleague Fatima Alymbekova f.mishaevna for her engaging program and professionalism.

Salih Nozimov, one of the children participating in our program, has successfully completed his cancer treatment and overcome the disease. This marks an important milestone on his journey toward recovery and a healthy new chapter in life.
Over the next two to three years, Salih will remain under the regular supervision of his doctors. He will attend scheduled medical check-ups, undergo routine laboratory tests, and follow medical recommendations, including a special diet. These measures will help monitor his health and support his full recovery.
We sincerely express our gratitude to Dr. Zhanna Almazovna Kambarova, pediatric hematologist-oncologist at the National Center for Maternal and Child Welfare, for her professionalism, compassion, dedication, and invaluable contribution to Salih's treatment. Thanks to the tireless efforts of doctors and healthcare professionals, children are given the opportunity to enjoy a healthier future.
