Launching a harvest season in Bel Aldy CDP

Good Neighbors Kyrgyz Republic is pleased to announce the successful implementation of the Honey Project for the past 3 years in Bel Aldy Ayil Aimak, Toktogul district.

This year, in addition to valuable knowledge and experience, the cooperative received the necessary technical and financial support for effective beehives farming.The range of farmers involved in the project has expanded.

We have big plans ahead!

We wish our partners favorable weather conditions and a rich harvest!

Project achievements:
Three years of successful implementation;
Working with sustainable focus group;
Cooperative received support and capacity building trainings;
Increasing unique and eco-friendly bee hoves farming.

International Children's Day brought together families and the Japalak community

On June 1, 2026, a festive event dedicated to International Children's Day was organized jointly with the Japalak Ayil Okmotu and the Department of Culture.

The celebration brought together children, parents, representatives of local authorities, and community members, creating an atmosphere of joy, creativity, and unity.

As part of the event, 120 children received gifts provided by Good Neighbors. In addition, the Japalak Ayil Okmotu organized and distributed ice cream to the children, adding even more joy to the celebration.

A rich cultural and entertainment program was prepared for the young guests. Children actively participated in games and competitions while showcasing their talents through musical, dance, and creative performances.

Particular attention was drawn to performances featuring elements of Kyrgyz national culture and Korean traditions, as well as a Taekwondo demonstration.

The celebration provided children with an opportunity to express their creativity, and many of them confidently demonstrated their talents while receiving warm support from the audience. Their vibrant performances created an unforgettable atmosphere and left guests with lasting positive impressions.

Global Youth Network: Online Sessions Held Between Students from Kyrgyzstan and Korea

From June 18 to 24, 2026, online exchange sessions continued between primary school students from the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Korea under the Global Youth Network (GYN) program.

Global Youth Network is an international program of Good Neighbors International that brings together children and youth from different countries to promote global citizenship, leadership, and social responsibility. The program aims to raise awareness of global issues and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), while also developing communication, cooperation, and active civic participation skills.

During the online sessions, students had the opportunity to communicate with their peers from another country, get to know each other, and participate in cultural exchange activities. The sessions were held in a friendly atmosphere and became an important step toward strengthening international understanding and fostering global perspectives among young people.

Participants will continue to engage in exchange activities and educational sessions designed to develop leadership skills, critical thinking, teamwork, and a deeper understanding of global challenges.
