As part of the International Children's Day celebration, a festive event was held in the Kok-Chu Community Development Project (CDP) in Chuy Region. The event was organized by Good Neighbors Kyrgyz Republic in partnership with local self-government authorities and community representatives.
The event program was developed based on the results of the community needs assessment and focus group discussions, which identified children's need for greater opportunities to develop STEAM skills as well as access to interactive educational resources. In response to these identified needs, a program combining educational and recreational activities was designed.
During the celebration, children actively participated in educational and creative games provided by Good Neighbors. These activities helped develop logical thinking, creativity, communication skills, teamwork, and a practical approach to learning. The event format enabled children not only to enjoy the celebration but also to gain new knowledge and skills through engaging and educational activities.
The successful implementation of the event demonstrated the importance of partnership among local self-government authorities, local communities, and Good Neighbors in creating an enabling environment for children's development and expanding their access to quality educational and developmental opportunities.
As part of the Graduate Support Program in our communities, Good Neighbors Kyrgyz Republic conducted a series of training sessions for high school students and graduates. This project was aimed at career guidance, skill development, and knowledge enhancement, as well as providing opportunities for admission to top universities in Kyrgyzstan and abroad.
Our participants not only received valuable advice and knowledge but also attended excursions and workshops where they could witness real learning and working conditions firsthand. This is a unique opportunity to be inspired, gain practical experience, and understand the steps needed to build a successful future.
We believe that such initiatives help young people unlock their potential and make informed career choices. We extend our gratitude to everyone who supports and inspires the younger generation in our communities and beyond!

On November 2nd, 2024, Good Neighbors Kyrgyz Republic organized Girl’s Football Cup in the frame of “Girls Empowerment Club” project.
This project helps girls feel strong and capable of achieving goals, overcoming stereotypes and strengthening their self-confidence. We are confident that sport is a great way to unlock inner potential and unite young people.
