Why do even the most dedicated teachers burn out and leave schools?

Quality education is impossible without basic conditions. But in remote regions, they are often simply missing:
How can we teach children computer literacy if there are no computers at school?
How can teachers educate when basic needs for clean water, hygiene, and hot meals are not met?

A teacher is a person just like any of us, with their own limits and emotional resources. The lack of basic conditions reduces teaching efficiency, leading to fatigue and burnout.

That’s why we at Good Neighbors Kyrgyz Republic don't stay on the sidelines! To create a strong foundation of support for teachers and children, we:
Equip computer classrooms (STEM);
Install drinking water filters and build modern sanitation facilities;
Organize healthy school meals and develop school gardens;
Conduct trainings for both teachers and students;
Organize mobile medical check-ups by bringing qualified specialists and equipment directly to the regions;
Systematically strengthen the educational environment.

Dear teachers and educators!
We sincerely congratulate you on your professional holiday! Thank you for your resilience, patience, and invaluable work. We are happy to stand by your side and support you on this journey.

Happy Education Workers' Day and World Teachers' Day!

The discussions covered issues related to education, healthcare, access to clean water and sanitation, rights protection, social support, employment, and income generation. Special attention was given to the challenges faced by vulnerable groups, access to basic services, improvement of living conditions, and strengthening the capacity of local communities.
